Hidden Forces Trio is the new project by Marco Serrato and Borja Díaz along with Gustavo Domínguez. Marco Serrato is the bass and string bass player/vocalist in the avant doom metal band Orthodox (AloneRecords, Southern Lord...). Serrato shares his work with Orthodox along other projects such as Jacob and his studies of classical string bass. Borja Díaz complete Orthodox rhythm section as te drummer. He also plays in noise-punk quartet Blooming Látigo, along other acts. Both collaborated with celebrated flamenco danser Israel Galván on El final de este estado de cosas. Gustavo Domínguez is a clasically trained clarinet/ bass clarinet player (Sevilla and London) collaborator of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid, among other national and international orchestras Interested also in contemporary music and
free improvisation, Domínguez is a Orthodox collaborator since 2006. As Hidden Forces Trio, they have been sporadically rehearsing to create improvisational spaces and dark structured chaos, fusing elements of jazz instrumentation with heavy metal roots towards contemporary music. Out to punch! (2012) it’s the trio first reference, a 4 song demo rehearsal tape released by Féretro Records. HFT recorded in May 2012 their first studio album “Topus” at La Mina Estudio (Orthodox, Monkeypriest, Blooming Látigo, Úrsula...), starting to play their first gigs.
